OBJECTIVE:
Looking to apply my extensive photography skills to provide valuable
images, know-how, and energy to those who would in turn provide me
with a rewarding work enviornment and further growth.
OVERVIEW:
I've been taking pictures since I was a small child. With formal
training starting in my teens, and continuous exploration on my own,
I've been expanding my photographic knowledge and skill throughout
my life. Now, finally, I'm giving focus back to this area of my
life, as I explore photography not just as a passion, but also as a
career.
(Historically, I've worked in the fields of technical theatre, UNIX
systems administration, and software development.)

Photographic styles/interests:
low-light (long exposure);
low-light (concerts and similar);
candid portraits;
macro (especially eyes);
documentary;
time-lapse;
hand-colored images.
Areas of skill/knowledge:
long exposures;
macro (usually with flash);
studio lighting;
Black&White darkroom techniques.

Canon EOS Elan (for 35mm);
Canon 100mm f2.8 USM macro lens;
Canon MT-24EX twin-lite flash;
Canon TC-80N3 timer/remote.

Canon 50mm f/1.8 prime lens;
Canon 28-80mm zoom lens;
Canon 100-300mm zoom lens;
Additional items rented for purpose shooting as
needed.

Aperture;

and other open source utilities, with custom shell
scripting.
